IFORGED PERFORMANCE ALLOYS RELEASES NEW REVERSE LIP WATER CHANNEL DIVERTER
ANAHEIM, Calif., August. 10, 2007 – iForged Performance Alloys
releases a new innovative
solution for the dreaded wheel vibration problem that occures with reverse style rims. The reverse style rim concept was a revolutonary break through in wheel design technology, that iForged Performance Alloys helped pioneer and promote.
To achieve the large full face design center, a channel was engineered on the inner barrel to allow the tire to seat properly on the wheels. This channel or drop center allowed water or other liquids to collect behind the wheel assembly nuts. While driving at low speeds, the water would have little or no effect on the balance of the wheel. As more and more water collected in the channel, and as the speed of the automotive increases; the centrifugal force created caused the water to act as a giant wheel weight and threw the entire wheel/tire assembly out of balance. The revese lip water channel diverter solution bolts onto the valve stem to lessen the vibration caused by this force. The solution is customizable to fit different width of wheels from 7.0" to 14".
The reverse lip water channel diverter solution is backward compatible on all iForged
wheels. "By creating this innovative product, we will enable all of our customers to fully enjoy their driving experience while using
aftermarket wheels even in bad weather," explained Vincent Wong, vice president
